ABSTRACT
Bullied young Stockholm boy Oskar lives life as a social pariah, shunned by his peers and forever fantasizing about revenge against those responsible for his mistreatment. A chance encounter with a young girl by the name of Eli blossoms into a romance imbuing him with the confidence required to begin fighting back, though he must decide the price of their companionship for himself after he learns of her need to drink human blood to sustain her existence.
